When you normally have a problem in your life in general, you hire someone to solve that issue, because you know they are better than you in that area, nobody’s perfect. But when you resolve it yourself, you almost never do it as it should be, myself included.
When it comes to your business, you don’t want to do this kind of mistakes, you need to get the best solution, you need to hire the right people for that matter because they know better than you, even if you think you can deliver a good solution.

Take good care of your business, those websites are ruining it!
If it’s important and valuable to your business, rethink what you are doing!

Beware! There is NO professional designer or freelancer that is going to compete with others on a project, and invest her/his valuable time to end up not getting paid. No matter what the website is telling you.
For beginners, the only thing you could get from those websites is real work briefs to create your portfolio. Speaking from experience, that’s the only thing I had from there, as a logo and brand identity freelance designer.
I’ve never won a contest (reason below), however, I’m grateful for that. I don’t consider it a failure, because it pushed me to grow and think of other effective solutions to get clients, as it offered me a real work portfolio.

For Example: a good logo should be:
This is just for the logo, without mentioning colors and fonts.
It’s not that I wasn’t good enough. However, I admit, there were products better than mine, but most clients end up choosing the least good ones.
That always frustrated me, and that's the reason I wrote this.
If you need a distinctive brand identity or just a logo to speak for your brand. Well, I'm here for you.
